December’s festive offering features the finest jazz collaborations, a retro girl group, and a little dash of magic, which is certain to make the season sparkle.

So, slip on your Santa hat, and head to the Centre for a month of unforgettable festive fun…

Second Star from the Right

JM Barrie’s classics tale is being brought to life with a twist this December.

Neverland and its magical adventures will be taking over the Centre thanks to Hijinx Odyssey theatre group.

However, Second Star to the Right is missing one crucial thing – Peter Pan. With everyone’s favourite lost boy gone, the production sees Neverland’s fight to rediscover adventure, magic, and imagination.

The exciting new show features a vibrant cast of pupils from Woodlands High School, along with disabled and non-disabled performers from Odyssey.

A Merry Tootsie Christmas

Pharrell Williams, Rizzle Kicks, and Taylor Swift are set to get the Tootsie treatment in Cardiff again this Christmas.

The world-renowned Tootsie Rollers will be adding a touch of vintage glamour to the Centre on December 2.

With classic covers of songs from Judy Garland to Rihanna, this sassy quintet is a must see this festive season.

Jacqui Dankworth and Charlie Wood

Acclaimed jazz and blues duo Jacqui Dankworth and Charlie Wood are teaming up to cover the classics at the Centre.

The renowned performers, whose influences include Ray Charles and Betty Carter, Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn, and George and Ira Gershwin, will transport the audience back to the golden era of blues with stunning renditions of songs such as The First Time Ever I saw Your Face; You’ve Got a Friend; and It Don’t Mean a Thing.

Instantly loved and never forgotten, audiences are urged to enjoy this unique blues pairing on December 9.

The Bear

A heart-warming winter tale of adventure, friendship and finding your way home again, is being brought to life at the Centre this December.

Raymond Briggs’ much-loved story The Bear will be getting everyone in a festive mood from December 12 to the 31.

The beloved tale follows the unlikely friendship between a young girl and a Polar Bear, who undertake an epic journey of self-discovery together. Treat the family with this beautiful stage production.

Ernie Sparkles’ Office Christmas Party

Prepare for some fabulous festive frolics at Ernie Sparkles’ Office Christmas Party!

Cardiff’s number one boy-lesque performer, is set to share all that glitters with audiences at the Centre this December 15. His eclectic mix of cabaret, music and gameshow antics is guaranteed to get the festive season started with a bang.

An Evening with Mat Ricardo with special guest Pete Wardell

Seeing is believing when it comes to magic performances.

However, multi-award-winning magician Peter Wardell takes magic to another level with his festive show on December 16.

His unparalleled talents have seen him named Magic Circle Close-up Magician of the Year and Stage Magician of the Year – making him the first magician to win both!

Adding to the magic will be one of Europe’s most in-demand variety performers Mat Ricardo. Known as the Gentleman Juggler, Mat is renowned for consistently bringing big laughs and creating an unforgettable spectacle wherever he goes.
